We had the echo done this afternoon. The baby has a tiny hole in the wall between his left and right ventrical, but the Dr. said it was very minor and would likely cause no trouble. We are praising God!
I started having contractions when I was in the cardiologist's office and they continued to be pretty steady on the way home so I *might* be in early labour. I'll try to pop in and let you know if we have to make a dash to the birth center.

Praise God! Thanks for sharing the good news. We'll pray that you are not in labor, yet!
ReplyDeleteThe Lord is so merciful and gracious!!! I can only TRY to hold back the tears in thankfulness to our Father!!! May the Lord sustain you and grant you fortitude and strength in this upcoming labor, delivery, and time of adjustment after!!! All my love!!!!
ReplyDeleteGod is so good to us! I am praising God with you. I usually check in on your blog on Sundays.
ReplyDeleteIf you think of us, pray for Luke. We think he was bitten by a Black Widow. We are having the eggsac examined to verify what kind of spider it was...in the boot he put on...that was left down at the barn. :( So far his symptoms match, but are relatively mild (only slightly writhing in pain). We visited the ER but without positive identification they seemed to think it was coincidential. Lots of Ambrotose and Immunostart... the pain comes in waves and isn't constant so is atypical.
We both have much to be thankful for. Glad to hear about the doctor who can help with the feet too!
Amen and Praise the Lord!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing it is! Our prayers are with you, your little one and the family.

Oh, Amanda, that's wonderful news! Praise God!!! I don't know if you remember this, but Matthew had a similar thing. He had a 'calcium deposit' on his heart that could've meant down syndrome. Going through even the prospect of it is very humbling.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just found out that Kristi Yamaguchi (sp?) (the gold medal figure skater) was born with club feet. I thought that was amazing considering all of what she's accomplished and thought maybe her story would be an encouragement to you.
We should talk sometime soon!
Miss and Love you!
