Wow, that was a quick night. Time flies and all that. Yaaawnn! This is the last shot that I'll be sharing from this session. It was one of my favs so I saved it for last as a carrot to get me through the rest of them. :D Yes, that's really how little self discipline I have. Yikes! Posted by Picasa
I'm up disgustingly late again. It was a busy but productive day. I made an appointment to have an ultrasound done next week. My midwife says I'm measuring bigger than I should be for 17 weeks so they want to check it out. I hope they can see if it's a boy or girl while they're at it so I can prepare ahead of time. The thought of trudging out to the shed in the middle of winter to fetch baby clothes isn't an appealing one. :) Must...go...to...be- zonk. Posted by Picasa

Another long day for me and I'm down to the wire on a couple of projects. I've really got to stop editing these. :P haha Posted by Picasa
He is clearly a thinker already...or maybe he's just ordering take-out. :) Posted by Picasa

Little scrunchy face. :D He really didn't like any light in his face so he'd squint as hard as he could. Sooo adorable! This is the last one for tonight. I shouldn't even be looking at these but I wanted to put up a sneak peek.
All together now, "awwww!" Posted by Picasa
When I arrived, I was *thrilled* to see that he still has his newborn flakes! They're one of those special little newborn things that are gone so quickly as they rapidly grow and change. I can picture him a little older in this shot. Perhaps because the shadow on his forehead gives the illusion of more hair? Posted by Picasa
I had the privilege of driving out to Vermont today (well, yesterday now) to photograph tiny little Diederick. Laura's apartment was so sweet and she's done a lovely job with the decorating so I would have liked to get more indoor shots, but because the light coming through the windows was rather dim due to some beautiful old shade trees, we moved the show outside. The yard was beautifully landscaped and I wish I'd gotten more adventurous with it, but the temps were only in the 80's and there was just enough of a light breeze that I knew Dieder would be uncomfy out in the open without a parka on. :) Here he is with Laura's bunny. Such a beautiful baby! Posted by Picasa

Schnuggle - Another favourite.  Posted by Picasa
I love how you can pretty much scrunch them into anything at this age. Posted by Picasa
Holding her made me realize just how much Emmy has grown. I can't wait to have my baby! Posted by Picasa
I got to do a newborn shoot on Saturday. She was a beautiful little doll and only a week old so she slept like a log for three hours while I moved her around. What a sweetie! Her parents were awesome; so easy going and full of ideas. They had a great house too with loads of anitques and interesting things that I wanted to use for props. Unfortunately, alot of them were in a darker part of the house and it was very overcast out so I was somewhat limited. Still, we got some fun shots. :) Posted by Picasa
16 weeks - Not much to see yet, but he/she sure is active in there already. In case you've been living under a rock, Laura had her baby on Saturday morning. You can see pics and get all of the stats on his Aunties' blogs. Congratulations to all of you! Posted by Picasa
