My husband wanted to give me a gift after our son was born. He should have known I'd ask for photos which is something akin to sheer torture for him. :)

This was taken right before we hit the road for Syracuse to have Dr. Cady put our son's casts on. I wanted sleeping, curled up shots, but he woke up the instant I handed him to Daddy. I'm just grateful we had the opportunity to do it at all since we were on a tight schedule. Sometimes good enough is perfect.
