Wow, it's late!

Well here I am again at the request of one of my favorite people in the whole world; my sister Jode. If I knew how to hyperlink, I would send you over to her blog for your personal edification. She is truly a testament to God's wondrous grace and I am blessed beyond measure to call her my friend.

I'm up late tonight because I just got off the phone with an old friend of mine. The one. The only. Chris Bruce. Toothless, coffee-drinking, chain-smoking, comedian/horse farrier, I can't-believe-he's-still-alive, Chris Bruce. My mom wanted me to tell him about glyconutrients because he suffers from chronic pain due to old (being hit and drug by a Kenworth) and new (having his femur snapped and head almost knocked in by two different horses) injuries. Let me put it this way, Chris shouldn't think about flying...ever. First of all, he's half titanium. Second, high-pitched noises cause acute pain in his head. Just imagine him trying to get through a metal detector. hehe Anyway, he wants to start taking better care of himself so he's gonna give it a go. Yay!

I am *attempting* to begin potty-training my son, Joshy. I personally don't think he's quite ready, but my husband thinks I should start getting him used to the idea before the baby arrives, so we got some pull-ups and I've been perching him up on the big potty as often as I can remember. So far, the only success we've had is three drops. Break out the streamers and party hats! Joshy is loving it because he gets to "fwush" and then wash his hands; the more soap the better. He'll tell me he's "weh" or "poo-poo" after the fact just so we can run through the routine...again. It's a start, right?

Well, I'm sure I could ramble on about all of the mundane things that go on in my daily life, but I have come to value sleep. Cheerio!
