I tried to paste in some html from a quiz I took but it doesn't seem to have worked. No biggy. I also found out that I am both linguistically and artistically intelligent. Have any of you other quiz-takers been given two, or has there been a glitch?
I'm up late again. My body would really love to go to bed, but I've commited myself to trimming S's hair and so I wait. She's got nice wavy hair which would be a nightmare to trim dry, so she's going to give it a wash. I really enjoy cutting hair. I wish I were more skilled in that area. I could use a few guinea pigs to practice on. Any volunteers? :)
I was going to share my thoughts on the subject I mentioned a couple of days ago, but alas, coherant thought escapes me at this hour. I suppose I need to begin blogging earlier in the day.

My html wouldn't work either, even after I tried tweaking it. I wasn't given two answers at once, but I did go back and change one answer that was optional for me, and came up as artistically intelligent as well as linguistically. So I guess we're same/same (as Stacey would have put it in her younger years :D ).
ReplyDeleteHope S's hair turned out well. We had a bit of a mishap with Char's, last night, and it's.. well, way too short now. Thankfully, hair grows. (It does look nice on her anyway, though, imo. :) )

ReplyDeleteOoo, send pics! Were you cutting it? What were you going for? One time I offered to "trim" my cousin's ratty,over-grown mullet. I tried to blend all of the lengths together to make it looks like I'd done a shoulder-length layered cut on purpose. It looked so cute, but her mom flipped out because I'd destroyed her daughter's "beautiful long hair"! I felt so bad.
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's pretty sad. Actually, it wasn't me cutting it, it was Ang. :D You know how Char's hair was sooo long? Well, they put it in a really low ponytail to cut most of the length off before doing the actual trimming. Char wanted it to be just below her shoulders. Well, something went wrong and about half of her hair ended up being around chin-length, haha. They were downstairs cutting it, and I was upstairs on the computer chatting. So, scared to tell Mom and Dad, Ang comes upstairs, takes over the keyboard, and types "I need you". I go downstairs and Char's bawling. Poor thing. :D I took the scissors and did my best to fix it. It's about chin-length all around now. And my parents weren't mad or anything, since it was a total accident. Ang WAS trying to be careful.. she just hasn't done much haircutting before. I think it will take some convincing for Char to let me send you pics, since she hates it, but I'll do my best. :D (Whatever you do, don't say it's "cute", haha.)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to which cousin it was. All I know is it wasn't me! :D
ReplyDeleteSundae
Poor Char! Poor Ang too! Tell Ang that a good way to learn a little about basic haircutting is to go to the mall and find a salon that you can easily see into from a mall bench. You can pick up a lot just from observation.
ReplyDeleteSundae, the cousin in question was Tiffany. :D Your mom knows how I felt since she did the same thing to Tam's hair once. haha!
Well, Ang did it that way because that's what her hairdresser did to her when she got her hair cut and it worked out fine. But oh well.
ReplyDeleteChar still has her chopped-off ponytail. It's so long and thick that they were calling it "the arm". haha Like, quick, put it on ice so we can reattach it!!!
Lol! Is she planning to save it or send it to something like 'Locks of Love'? How weird would that be to recognize your hair on someone else's head? haha!
ReplyDeleteI saw Char's hair in the webcam last week, and I thought it looked really cute on her. :) And Tiff's hair after the cut looked great!
ReplyDeleteJode
I think she's planning to keep it. :D Ang donated hers when she got it cut, but that was at the salon.
