She's such a good big sister. He's two months old already. Whew! That went by quickly.
Just the world through my lens.
I had turned the pot to her right. :) Dumb lighting mistake.
Another from the archives of Addie at 5 months. She was such a good baby!
From the archives: one of my favs of my two oldest kids. That was such a fun morning. We got soaking wet in all of that tall grass. I miss their cheeks, the park we went to almost every day, and the depth of my black and whites. I've gotten lazy in my editing.
Emmy used to be quite the miner. Thankfully, she is learning when, where, and how to do this, so my floor and her clothes are now much less boogery. :)
Another one from last year. I'm pulling out some oldies for my sisters tonight. I'm so bad about sending photos. Eeps.
His pointy little nose.
His long curly lashes.
His chubbs.
His sweet puffs of breath on my hand.
This boy is an avid collector of fuzz from his blankie, my hair, and various other natural fibers. He holds on tight to these treasures until I inevitably discover their existance and confiscate them. All four of my babies have pursued this hobby, but he is by far the best at it.
I could make something of this, but alas, I am not.
Just a silly snap of J and E from the fourth of July. It was pretty dark out already, but the kids had a blast playing at a local country ice cream place.
Oh look. He does actually open his eyes once in awhile! haha If only you knew how difficult it is to get him to sleep some days. These sweet sleepy baby shots are numbered.
I love how his whole brow lifts when he's curious about something.
Mr. Man fell asleep on his Auntie Jennie's arm this morning. I had to get my camera when I saw his smooshy grumpus face.
Emmy started calling it her "bewee tuppins" when she was two and it's stuck.
A few quick things:
1. Mr. Man is in his fourth sets of casts. Dr. Cady says his feet are coming along very nicely now so Lord willing, little Walt will have his fifth set on Monday and then will undergo a small operation to lengthen his achilles tendons the following Monday. After that, he'll have his final set of casts on for three weeks to allow healing. You can pray that the Lord will guide the doctor's hands and help it not to be too bothersome for the baby. Thankfully, he won't have to be completely knocked out for the procedure since Dr. Cady uses local anesthetic.
2. Ed and Hannah came out last weekend. It was so good to see them and my, how their twins have grown! We're talking the chunky cherubs with big blue eyes kind of irresistable. Photos are in their family album. I'll be adding a few more over the course of the week as time permits.
Hannah, you really have to bring them sometime during the week so we can do it up right. Too bad I had to ditch my pram when we moved. It would have been cute to get a shot of them peeking out of it.
3. Tam, we *might* be able to swing the trip to PA. Eeeee! I'm a little too excited.
4. Jerry, Josh does 'The Naked Warrior' workout - only clothed. :) You too could have a world class bod, power to the people, grunt grunt, and all of that.
He gives such clear cues, I could totally potty train him right now.
Excuse the colour. I can't get it right.
Thanks for the title, Jode. :)
This is the last one; technically a disaster, but his grin makes up for my incompetency.
I took a ridiculous number of shots. It was pretty difficult to narrow ithem down since he's my guy and I think every twitch of his eyebrow is the most adorable thing ever. You moms understand, I'm sure.
With every baby comes the 'He/She looks like so and so' game. We play it a lot around here. :)
my dear friend, Heleen, for the precious little sweater. I hope I have it on the right way!
I keep trying for a film-like conversion. This needs a bit more contrast I think.
