On the Phone

Spring Sunshine

We spent part of the weekend in town. On Saturday she took a turn and woke up choking. I found her blue with her eyes rolled back into her head. My gracious sister-in-law and her family gladly welcomed us into their home so we could be closer to the hospital.
She seems to be handling the coughing spells a bit better. You'd never know she was sick in between naps. The trouble begins when she first wakes up.

Took a dip into my archives this afternoon in an effort to entertain my stir-crazy housebound children. 2 Mays ago, all of my wonderful sisters came to Idaho for a visit. My kids fondly recall the time together with their cousins, Aunties, and Uncle Mark, out at "the cabins".
The campsite had a couple of reliable old horses there which were happy to see all of the little fists full of grass waving to them from the other side of the fence.

It is snowing here.
Addie loves Joe. I bring him in from the barn every day to play. It's a good thing he's pint-sized because he thinks he's pretty fierce.
This is my living room

My kids are battling whooping cough. We moved their mattresses and bedding out to the living room to allow us to take care of all of them simultaneously.
It even took down Mr. Tough.

All of the kids bounce back in the daylight hours, but if they get too rowdy they cough until they gag or vomit. Poor lambs. :(
