Btw, they also have a new line of hats to compliment these dresses which are pretty stinkin' cute. They're here: www.scarletstitch.com/pages/hats/sophia.html

Pssst...
www.scarletstitch.com has a few of their Elora Sash dresses back in stock! They are my favourites. The girls have no trouble getting them on themselves and they're so comfy and feminine. Go get one!
Seen here with a Claire Slip underneath.

Simple kind of beauty
Used a lump of K Lane's 'Sweetness' on this one. You can find it here: klanephotography.typepad.com/eyecandy/
I'm still getting the hang of this action stuff, but I really like Kristy's. They're super easy to use!
The clothing she's wearing is from my favourite online boutique: www.scarletstitch.com.
Little Liney
The entertainer of us all. She puts on quite a show whenever company comes. Dancing, singing, her best jumps. I need to curb it before she runs away to join the circus, but I have to get it on video first.

www.scarletstitch.com is restocking their inventory (the law has been shelved for the time). I'll give you a heads up when they're rolling again.
This Elora Sash has to be my favourite of all of their designs. It's easy on and off and looks so sweet with their Claire slips. I haven't heard if the new gals will be continuing the slip line, but I sure hope so. They look beautiful with everything

Isn't this smashing?
My friend Ang makes the cutest aprons! Her website is still under construction, but you can see her stuff here: www.clearwaterhandcrafts.com . There are some beautiful necklaces there too!

The Dress...
she will remember. The twirly one. The ruffly one. The one that makes her feel oh-so-princessy in.
That one.
Thanks, Mom. :)
Cat Nap / Dog Nap
Teething really wipes a man out. Too bad it's only for 15 minutes at a time. I can't wait until regular naptimes resume.
That's Ann's beagle Daisy back there. Cute, but neurotic. She yelps and howls like somebody is sawing her leg off with a butterknife whenever anybody comes in the door. She is happy, you see. So very very happy. She wakes up my kids.
Often.
I love you Ann! Keep sleeping with one eye open, Daisy.

Room for 4
Josh (my husband) finished the bunkbeds a couple of weeks ago. There's a trundle underneath that we pull out for Addie. He made the whole thing with rough 2x4's. It took an age to sand everything. He did such a beautiful job. The kids love it!

My kids roll me
Emmy: "We couldn't just go get a Bible from the store. They probly don't just sell God's Word like that."
Me: "Actually, they do. Isn't that nice?"
Emmy: "Ya, it is. I'm not sure if it's worth much cents."
Me: "Well, did you know that God's Word is priceless? It's worth more than all of the money in the whole world!"
Emmy: "Oh dear."
...
...
Emmy: "I know! Maybe you could talk to the cashier lady about it. You could tell her, "I need this Bible for my Sweetie for her birthday. Would you take this much cents for it?" Maybe that would work out!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My friend Rachel came to town on Saturday. We had a lovely visit and she's just as sweet and beautiful as ever. I was sharing with her something Joshy had told me and it reminded me that I hadn't typed it out here yet.
Joshy: "Mama, I have a great idea!"
Me: "What's that, Bud?"
Joshy: "You could make a machine that hooks onto the back of a tractor, maybe with a hitch or bar or something. It could be a machine that goes over the rows of grass that's cut down and it could suuuck up the piles and then roll them up inside and then have this thing in there that could tie the string around the hay and then shoot it out the back."
Me: *blink, blink* "Umm, Bud? You just described a bailer. I'll show you pictures of that."
I wish I knew how to weld. I think I've got an inventor on my hands.
